The Difference

By:  Elmer V. Sayre

what is the difference

between our two worlds?

you have your private jet

I have my caromata

you have your latest components

I have my child cooing

you have your beach resort

I have the sun and the moon

which I still can contemplate

while you are lost in microchips

and beer bottles and committee meetings

and blood pressure check-ups.
